Our Broadway Base is located behind MDL Mercury Yacht Harbour.  We have two fully equipped classrooms and a lounge area for meeting and greeting crews.

In addition we also have a kitchen with microwave and facilities for making tea and coffee.

For access please contact a member of the ops team or your instructor when you arrive.



Pontoon E1

 Yachts & Rib

They are located at the end of Pontoon E at Mercury marina.

Access is via the white gate directly opposite the Chandlery and Marina Office.

You can obtain the pin code from the Marina Office and this also gives you access to the toilet and shower facilities.



From London travel down the M3 to M27. Take the M27 east towards Portsmouth.

Come off at Junction 8, following the signpost to Hamble le Rice; turn right at the bottom of the slip and the second exit at the next roundabout.

Follow the road over two mini roundabouts. At the third, after taking the first exit take the first turning left into Satchell Lane. Follow Satchell lane for about a mile and Mercury Yacht Harbour is sign posted on the left adjacent to a caravan park.

Alternatively you can use the A3 from London and take the M27 west towards Southampton.

The Broadway Base is the slipway and blue portacabin complex immediately on your right.


The nearest train station is Hamble, which is on the Portsmouth to Southampton Line, with connections to London Waterloo.

It is an approximately one mile from the marina along a road with no pavements.


Mercury Marina Car ParkParking is free in the marina car park.

To get to the Broadway Base, walk along the front of the marina complex, then left along a gravel path which brings you to various commercial units and the base is on the right hand side.





Mercury Marina Restaurant and shopMercury Marina is a one minute walk from the Broadway Base.

There you will find the Water’s Edge Restaurant and Bar which serves the normal bar food and boasts an attached restaurant.

There is a fully stocked Chandlery within the marina, along with excellent showers and toilet facilities.
