Close Quarters Boat Handling Course                    £145     


The Close Quater Boat Handing Course is not an  RYA course, but is a 2 day module which is structured to develop skills in particular areas enabling a student to progress at a rate which suits them.

Its also good fun!

The price includes the yacht and instructor but not food or mooring fees which are shared with the crew.

This is a two day intensive course designed to complement the Day Skipper Course, allowing you to build your confidence and gain experience around marinas and close quarter situations.

You will moor the yacht in a wide variety of wind and tide conditions with an experienced instructor on hand to guide you at all times.

The price includes the yacht and instructor but not food, fuel or mooring fees which are shared with the crew.

The course commences at 5PM on the first day.

    Our one-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages.

    Come and have fun whilst learning and gaining a useful qualification.

    This two day practical course is entirely boat based. There is no fixed route, and passage planning based on weather forecasts will form part of
    the course. You can expect to explore a variety of locations in and around the Solent and
    experience anchoring up, berthing in a marina and picking up a mooring buoy.
