She is a safe and well equipped yacht, with superb handling characteristics.
Down below she can sleep up to 6 people split between two cabins and the saloon. On deck she has twin wheels, a spacious cockpit and a fold out table
As a fully MCA coded yacht she is well equipped with B & G chartplotters at each helm and one at the chart table, furlex roller reefing, storm jib, stackpack and lazy jacks, liferaft, dinghy and a comprehensive chart folio.
She is ideal for a weekend charter around the Solent or extended offshore trips.
As a RYA Day Skipper you will normally be restricted to the Solent area between the forts and Yarmouth, but as your experience and ability increases the area may be extended.
RYA Coastal Skippers & Yachtmasters can sail on extended passages but, their passage intentions must be sent to MPSC prior to the sail date.
All yacht charters start at 5pm the evening before the first date booked and finish at 4pm on the final day.
Dates of availability are shown below together with the current charter rate.
Please note that your booking will be available from 5pm the day before. For example: If you book the 25th of July, your charter will be available from 5pm on the 24th of July.
The cost of Fuel and Gas are included in the charter price. This will be reviewed throughout the year due to the current fuel price situation.
• All racing is subject to an additional cost to cover insurance. Please contact the club for details.
• Gas used is included in the charter cost.
• Fuel is included in the charter cost.
Having a medical condition need not necessarily prevent you from taking a full part in the course but the Club Principal must be aware of any potential problems.
If you are in any doubt about your fitness to take part in a course, speak to us on the clubline prior to your course.
By completing the course booking form you make the following declarations and undertakings:-
I hereby declare that I have recorded below details of any medical condition which may affect my fitness to participate in the course and in particular I have included details where I suffer from asthma/bronchitis, angina or heart condition, fits, fainting or blackouts, severe headaches, diabetes, travel sickness, allergies to medication or other allergies.
I undertake to inform the Metropolitan Police Sailing Club Ltd and the course instructor of any relevant medical condition which may become apparent between now and the start of the course, and of any medication I am taking.
I have included below details of any dietary requirements and any allergies, including allergies to food and medication.
