The course starts at 8.30am – 3pm

2 day course starts at 5pm the day before date of course- 3pm on day 2

Everyone has an area of their sailing that could do with some extra practice.

These days are a fun day/ days out with no pressure enabling you to learn and improve on your skills.

This course is ideal for all club members no matter what your level, who those who have not sailed for a while or would like to refresh their knowledge and brush up on some skills.

During the Skipper/Crew Skills Day you will spend the day onboard covering some of the practical parts of the RYA Day Skipper course, and perhaps beyond depending on your level of experience, so is great for newly qualified skippers as well as those who haven’t sailed for a while.

The price includes the yacht, instructor safety equipment, waterproofs, but does not include food, or mooring fees which are shared with the crew.

A highly recommended course for all to learn new skills and brush up on old ones.

• Setting the boat up for departure and arrival
• The HMMV of sails putting them up and dropping.
• Reefing
• Man over board drills
• Tides
• Collision regulations
• Position fixing, back bearings,
• Some CQBH
